CHILDREN AND FAMILIES

St Clements has a range of programs focused on fostering and developing children and their families. Family is a large and integral part of our church and our children are a vitally important part of our future.

Creche

Creche is available for birth to 2yr olds in a safe and caring environment and runs during the 9.30 morning service. It's designed to give parents a moment to themselves to listen to the teaching without interruption.

For more information call our coordinator Jenny on 0409 545 395

Greenhouse

Greenhouse is an exciting ‘Sunday School’ program for children that is held weekly during the 9.30 morning service. The program involves teaching, songs, games, stories, questions, craft and prayer and has been split up into 2 age groups: Seedlings (aged 3-Prep) and Saplings (grades 1-6 but split into respective age groups during the program) It's all about creating a fun and safe environment for the children to learn about the bible and to foster their relationships with each other. For more details contact Lisa on 0425 878 167.

Treehouse

Specifically for youth in grades 7 & 8 Treehouse is all about helping them to understand the teaching they have just heard in our 9.30am Sunday service. For many young people this age listening to a sermon can be a bit of a struggle at first, they may ask questions like "How is this relevant to me?, What did the preacher mean when they said....? or What am I supposed to do next?

How does this happen? Well, we take them out as soon as the sermon finishes for a short while to process what they have been listening to, ask big (or little) questions and to work out the links to their everyday life and walk with Jesus. For more details please call Mark (Youth Pastor) on 0430 316 816

Safety

St Clements is committed to ensuring our church is a safe place for children, youth and vulnerable people. Everyone involved in a leadership role has a current Working with Vulnerable People Card, issued by the Tasmanian Government, and observes the Code of Ethics of the Anglican Church of Australia.  All those volunteering in children’s and youth programs have regular ChildSafe training.

For children in grades 4 - 6 we have a great fortnightly Friday night program full of games, fun and solid bible teaching.
